I, too, have been pondering how to make my life count for Christ. But I've also been made aware that what I do is not as important as why I do it. If we strip away what we do "for the Lord" and examine our relationship with Him, we might be shocked. You are correct that Christians spend most of their time 'doing' to prove that they love the Lord, instead of nuturing and building their relationship with Him. That is the FIRST love that we have to focus on. How can we love humanity if our love for Christ isn't what it should be. I've always thought I had a good relationship with the Lord, but I'm being challenged to examine it lately. I want to fall in love with Him more, then the manifestation of that love to others will be genuine and true. I'm proud of you!!! And awed by you!!!

Aunt MarthaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2502450144185453290.post-35591680598414105962010-02-10T12:39:55.911-08:002010-02-10T12:39:55.911-08:00Wow! I've always had a huge burden to help those who need it, and I'm glad I read your blog as it helps me to better understand the importance of what my motives are. I pray "Lord create in me a heart that loves and help me to respond out of my love for you and for others."eliz4godhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05724568848680950863noreply@blogger.com
